Just a bunch of random stuff as I go through life.

Honda is getting ready to start taking orders for their latest.  The Honda Jet
Coming out later this year in the very light jet class and joining the Adam 700 and Cessna Mustang.

It cruses at 412 knots at 43,000 feet with a glass cockpit and over the wing engines.  It will also carry 7 passengers and be certified single pilot.

This is great.  From a story on Denvers channel 7 news US Air Marshals are placing innocent people on the governments watch lists for no other reason than they have a quota to fill.

There were several Air Marshals interviewed and said that's only one of many problems they are having.

I've upgraded the software running this site to the latest and greatest version.  DotNetNuke 3.3.3.  It was a pretty major upgrade so if you are on here and run into anything that doesn't work or have any problems please leave me some feedback so I can get it working or fixed as needed.

See ya....

This has kind of sucked for the last couple of weeks.  There hasn't been anytime to go flying.  Either for real or just in the backyard with the RC Helicopter.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to schedule a plane this weekend and the weather will cooperate.

I would kind of like to got flying around the front range a little bit and see if the lakes are running low or not.

Well at least part way.  My job (the one that pays the bills) requires I get into Unix systems all the time.  I needed to get a personal laptop to hold all my personal type stuff and to also use as a machine I could connect to the companies VPN.  I decided on an Apple MacBook pro 15.4 inch.

I've had it a week now and it's freaking wonderful.  All the good looks of an Apple with the heart of a Unix machine and able to run windows programs too if I happen to need them.  To be honest though I haven't run into anything I need a Windows program for yet.  This is the perfect laptop to have it you have to work with Unix / Linux systems and it's styling.  :)

I've got myself a new toy that's going to take a little time to get used to. I'm actually using it now to post this entry. 5 dollhairs to the first person who can guess what it is. :) Aunts don't count.

I've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee.  One of the reasons I got it was that it had BlueTooth  and I thought that was kind of cool.  Then of course I needed to get a phone with bluetooth but which one would work with the Jeep.

I had to guess and the blackberry I ended up with worked great.  The Razor v2 I've got now works but not all of the features are availble.  Here is a chart that will make selecting your next phone or your next car easier if you are a geek.  :) Bluetooth Car / Phone selector.

"Red Hat is too small and does not do a very good job of supporting [its customers]. ... The great thing about open source, the most interesting thing to me is the intellectual property. ... We can just take Red Hat's intellectual property and make it ours, they just don't have it."

Since there has been a new release of the core DNN Gallery that corrects all of the issues I fixed in the files availble here I've once again made the downloads availble only to registered users.

You should use the latest version of the Gallery but if you cannot upgrade your DNN install to 3.3.1 for some reason feel free to register here and get the corrected files for the older DNN version.
