Started the day in snow so thick I couldn’t see the front of the truck and 32 degrees. Ended the day at 90 degrees and lots of sun. I could get used to that. ;) Here is a link for James. 10 things you will regret later. See I told you. And traveling got me to thinking of The Influenza Pandemic of 1918. I’m weird like that.

American updates American finally starts to get rid of all their MD-80’s. They are being replaced with 737-800 with all the goodies. The hottest new battlefield weapon in Baghdad The Apple iPod touch. Stupidest thing I’ve seen yet The WoW POD. Everything you need to look like an idiot playing warcraft. It seems that now that I’m a road warrior again that my favorite travel companies are starting to suck. United now has a Fat Passenger policy and Hertz started charging $250 extra if you smoke in their cars. Where do I fit in? I’m fat and smoke. Now I’m trying to change both of those. I don’t like being fat (I Decided I want to live longer) and I don’t really like smoking anymore. I think I only smoke because everyone tells me I can’t anymore. Oh well I still fly United but I rent my cars from National now.

This would truly suck! A King Air was flying a charter flight with two pilots and two passengers when, at 23,000 feet one of them starts freaking out opened the door and jumped out. The pilots had to make an emergency landing because they couldn’t get the door closed again. I’m wondering how he managed to get the door open. A King Air is pressurized and I think you would have to be very strong to get the door open against the internal pressure and the slipstream of air moving past at 200 knots.
