Just a real fast observation from my first week out here in Ohio.  The Women are really big here in Columbus.  Nice, good personalities, but big.

The area were I'm working isn't really the safest either.  Today the head headend guy showed us were the dishes were shot 19 times right before the building behind them was fire bombed.  As we were leaving back to the hotel on Monday we drove right by a couple drug deals going on in the parking lot.  Interesting stuff....

Well tomorrow I'm off for the lost land of Ohio for three weeks of installs.  After last week doing upgrades to systems I'm 100% sure that I can take a three day system upgrade and turn it into a 15 minute job + time for testing.  Now I've got to convince the other guys.  So far the two guys in my group seem a little resistant to the idea.  We'll see....

On another note it turns out that the entertainment industry's claim that piracy costs 750,000 jobs and $250 billion is a lie that they made up and told so much they forgot they made it up.  ;)
