So this is a little funny in a scary kind of way.  Pope Benedict II quotes an old dead medieval scholar that Islam is "Evil and Inhumain".  Then of course Muslims rush out to prove him right.  Pope Comment linked to crusade. 

One thing I know I don't need to worry about is an extremest Cristian suicide bomber. 

I'll be heading off to closing on the new house here shortly.  I'm supposed to get a check for $5, my ernest money but all of the paper work I've seen showes me needing to bring $1200. 

The people telling me to bring nothing do this a lot more often than I do though so I think I'll trust them and show up with no check.  If I have to go to the bank to finish closing because I needed to bring a check I think I'll charge them right around the same amount I need to bring with me.  :)

My new motto is not to let big companies jerk me around and if they do gve them back what they give to me.  There is no rule that says I can't!!  :)

Schneier on Security.  How much better off or safer are we now than 5 years ago?  Not very much.  It looks like we are doing even less now than before the 9/11 attacks.

Here is the plan. I'm taking the 13, 14, and 15th off.  I close around noon on the 13 so that will give me most of the day Wednesday, all of the 14th and 15th to move what little I brought back from Oregon with me.  I've got the whole weekend also for all the little stuff.

I've got the gas and electric moved over to my name but for some reason I've got to go down to the city to do the water and sewer stuff.  All I've got left is high speed internet from Comcast and eventually Directv but I'm not really worried about TV for now.

I've also got to get some living room furnature.  Maybe I'll do that today, just for something to do.

This is pretty interesting Using electroshock to bring people out of comas.  Working in the medical industry for 14 years I seen a lot of people in comas.  Anything is better than not having any hope at all.  I hope this starts being used more.

As a kind of an aside and something that could put you in a coma. :)
