Ok it's been awhile since I updated anything here.  I've been kind of busy with the new job and moving and haven't had really good access.  But it's getting better.  :)

This could be good news for a lot of people.  Grow a new Willy.

I made it back in one piece.  :)  I'm staying with my aunt and uncle for awhile until my house in Oregon sells and I find a new one here.  Other than that I've just been running around catching up with people and family.

I re-joined the best FBO in the country, McAir Aviation.  These guys are great and even better than when I was back here a couple of years ago.  I'll be taking my Flight Review on the 24th and flying around to get used to the area after than.  My Nephew is going to be my flying buddy and if James moves out here he'll be spending a lot of time in the air with me.  :)

Today is the big day.  I'm officialy off the C-COR payrole (but since they still owe me money I can't talk bad about them, yet).  The bigger thing and most important is The mover is coming sometime this morning.

The driver and me have been playing a little bit of phone tag over the last couple of days so I'm not sure exactly when he is getting here but I do know it's going to take him 45 minutes from the time he leaves his house.  :)

I'm nearly ready but not really ready enough.  There is still a bunch of stuff that needs to get finished.  I've got at the very least one more trash run probably two, meet with the real estate agent and give him a key, get the trailer from uhaul and load up all the stuff that's coming with me.  I've still got to pack up the stuff I knew I was going to be using right up until the bitter end also.

Check lists are good in the airplane and if I would have been thinking I would have started one for the move.  As it is I've gotten a few things out of order. I packed...

Well the plan was to hit the road right after the mover loaded up all my stuff and got out of the way.  It's looking now like I'm going to have to stick around for at least the rest of Friday so I can clean the place up a bit.

There is still a little strip of siding the blew off awhile ago that I need to get fixed.  I just haven't figured out exactly how to go about it yet.  I tried once but the roof is to steep and I kept sliding off.  Since I really don't want to break anything (like my neck) I really need to find someone that can fix it.

So I'll either be leaving really late Friday or very early Saterday.

This is kind of funny. Way back sometime in 1989 I wrote a list of things I wanted to achieve in my life.  I must have written it while I was in the Army on Ft. Knox.  Anyway I was going through stuff to throw away before the move next week and I found it.

The cool thing is I have achieved all of them except two.  I'm missing the perfect woman goal (I did meet her though) and I never got to be a Denver Cop.  I suppose there is still a chance with the former but I'm a white boy so I don't have a chance in hell of being a Denver Cop.  I took the test twice before I figured it out.  Each time I scored 100 points on the written test plus 4 points veteran status and two points for something else I forget what but something to do with the Army.  On the second time around a friend of mine on the board told me that the first Mexican to get accepted to the next level only scored 74 points total to my 106 points.  Oh well I've got them all beat now.

A couple of other funny things were; Get a job that pays...

This is kind of interesting thinking.  Since I'll have some money coming in as soon as this house sells I might just have to look into doing something like this.

Profit from the shrinking Dollar.

Still a lot of the same around the house.  Packing up stuff I don't want and throwing it away.  Yesterday I got rid of five large lawn scrap size trash bags of clothes.  Some of them were clothes I haven't worn since High School.  It was kind of weird to see some of them.  :)

I feel a little like Enron with all the paper shreading going on over the last week.  I'm getting rid of financial stuff from bank accounts I had in Junior High and 20 year old checks.  :)

I'm also giving a good amount of stuff away.  So far no one has been safe.  The guy from the moving company that came over to do the survey left with an XM Radio boom box, my Real Estate agent left with a printer, scanner, gas BBQ, bread maker, old server, and a CD player.  :)

I've got my friends wife coming over to help me clean the place up a bit. For the cleaning I'm going to pay her something don't know what yet. She's also going to do the front yard for me.  In return for that she gets all of my yard tools and really anything else...

I'm not saying anything that I know anything but if your a CEO or were one and now your headed to prison because you managed to screw all your employees while making a lot of money for yourself  here is a list of places you will want to go.

I promiss never to visit.

This is an excellent article.  Get past the first part about online banking and it's a very interesting read. How it will doom America.

Well I (strangly) recieved a couple of quotes for moving my stuff from Oregon to Colorado.  The magic number you ask?  Based from online quotes and phone calls from all of the do it yourself places, my taxes from moving here and the two moving companies that I've talked to;  $3000 - $3500.

Looks like at least 70% of that up front.  So, since it looks like everything is going to cost pretty much the same no matter what I'm going to let a moving compnay pack up everything and move it for me.  Less hassel all around for me and I'll need a trailer for the Harley no matter what.
