This is kind of work related.  I engineer Video onDemand systems for the cable and telco industries.  Currently I'm working with AVC and streaming VOD over IP.  This is one of the cooler looking set top boxes that decode mpeg4 (avc).

This is kind of funny.  When I went to post this entry I couldn't use IE6 to do it without getting a general exception and a failure in the module that handles adding posts.

With Firefox running on my FreeBSD box there is no problems.  :) 

This whole website is written using MS technology VB .Net, C# running on IIS with a SQL Server 2000 background.  There should be no problems at all using IE 6.  :)

It looks like IE 7 isn't going to be much better.

I think I've got the two bigest things figured out.  The blog and the Gallery.  At least I  can upload pictures one at a time anyway.  :)  And the blog part is running as the right user.

While I waited for my Windows box to cool down after it locked up I changed the secondary gear on my Helicopter.  Now I've got to figure out why it wants to spin around in a big circle.  :)
